A roll off dumpster rental is a great option for homeowners, businesses and contractors looking for a convenient and cost-effective way to dispose of large amounts of trash. Here we will explain how the process works and what you need to know before choosing to rent a roll off dumpster.
The first step is to decide the size of the dumpster you will need. There are several sizes to choose from, ranging from 10 to 40 cubic yards. It is important to choose the right size for your project, as overfilling a dumpster will be costly and may require an additional pickup.
If you don’t have a ton of debris to dispose of, or don’t have the space to fit a large dumpster on your property, our 10 yard dumpster would be best for you. The 10 yard dumpster is small and ideal for residential debris removal, smaller DIY projects, and general household clean up.
The 20 yard dumpster is usually seen at medium sized residential projects, as well as smaller construction jobs. This dumpster is great for taking care of debris removal if you’re doing an outdoor project, and large home renovation jobs. The doors on the 20 yard dumpster make it easy to load.
When you have a lot of waste, and need to tackle a construction or demolition job, the 30 yard dumpster is definitely the best option. If you are working on a major construction job, or completing a large household renovation, the 30 yard dumpster will get the job done.

1
Select a location
You may put your dumpster in your driveway, curbside or even in your yard. Make sure it’s large enough to accommodate the size of residential roll-off dumpster you choose. We’ll give you the dimensions for every dumpster available.
2
Remove obstacles
Make sure the area is accessible for our delivery trucks, and free of objects or automobiles that may be in the way. Also, check that there are no low-hanging tree limbs or overhead wires that could get damaged.
3
Avoid overloading
Don’t go past the fill line. Tip: load in bulky items in first, whether that’s old furniture, appliances and household junk, or construction and landscaping material from a home renovation.
4
Schedule your pickup
Just give us a call by 4 PM and we’ll come by, usually by 6 PM the following day. You can also pre-schedule your pickup, if you prefer. If you have more waste to remove, we can return the dumpster to you empty, ready to reuse.

What can and can't be put in a dumpster?
No, you do not have to be there when our driver shows up for delivery. When placing your order, provide your project manager with specific placement instructions and we will deliver the dumpster accordingly. If the dumpster needs to be placed in an location that is not easily described over the phone or if the delivery location is especially crucial, then you may want someone to be there to ensure the dumpster is placed in the right spot.
What dumpster sizes are available to rent?
Yes, we also have commercial smaller dumpsters for permanent use. These are for restaurants, businesses, apartment buildings, etc. Check our homepage for a list of services and sizes.
Is there a right way to load the dumpster?
The cost of a dumpster rental will vary based on the size and weight capacity of the dumpster, as well as the location of the customer. Disposal costs also vary widely between cities since some municipalities have reduced landfill space or mandate recycling for various types of debris. The prices will be discussed over the phone and will be shown on your invoice. If you have any questions or concerns regarding pricing, please contact your project manager or our customer service department.
