How do roll off dumpster rentals work?

The first step when renting a dumpster is simple. Call in and tell us about your project. One of our project managers will then assist you with choosing the correct size, weight necessary, and how long to rent the roll off for. Then once your order has been placed place we dispatch it to our driver. After your order is dispatched an email will be sent with two documents, one is your electronic invoice, the other is your terms and conditions. When you receive these emails you know your dumpster is on schedule for delivery for the date specified. Please make sure you sign your documents as soon as you receive them.

Who do I call when I'm done and ready for pick up?

When you are finished with your rental, you simply call us at (866) 858-3867 to schedule a final removal. Dumpster removal can take anywhere between 24-72 hours. Remember, your rental ends the day you call in for final.

What can and can't be put in a dumpster?

Please refer to our terms and conditions document to view exactly what can’t be placed in the dumpster. Some items include; hazardous waste, paint, tires, household appliances and more. If you have concerns regarding specific items, please call and ask before you place them in the roll off dumpster. You can reach our customer service department at (866) 858-3867.

Is there a right way to load the dumpster?

Yes, spreading material evenly inside the container is best. You CANNOT overload the container passed the top, some containers have a line that marks where you cannot go over. Nothing can be hanging over the walls, or sticking out of the top. Over loading the container may result in additional fees due to driver’s time and delays suffered.

Do I have to be there when my dumpster gets picked up?

No, you only need to make sure you do not have anything blocking the access of the dumpsters. This includes cars, gates, debris, and or equipment. Please have everything out of the way so our driver has a clear path for pick up. Note if the driver is unable to retrieve the dumpster on the day of pick up, additional charges will occur.

Do I need a permit for my dumpster?

Customers will usually only need a dumpster permit if they intend to have their container dropped off on a street or other public property. Our project managers will be able to tell you if you will need a permit before they set up your order, from there we can obtain the permit for you. There is a cost associated with a permit, the price depends on your city and how many days you will need the permit for.

Is it cheaper to rent a dumpster for a day?

No. While it is possible we may be able to deliver a dumpster early in the morning and pick it up later in the afternoon depending on busyness of schedule. This is can sometimes be difficult to do and whether we can accommodate this request is based on our schedule for that particular day. In some cities we offer what are called “live-loads” where our driver will drop off a dumpster at the customer’s location and remain on-site until the dumpster is filled. This is restricted only to customers who are able to load up their dumpsters within a short amount of time and who do not need a dumpster for longer than a day. Regarding costs, even though you may only have the dumpster for one day, the price will remain the same as a typical rental. From an operational perspective, we are still delivering the dumpster, removing the full dumpster and disposing the debris just like any other dumpster rental service, so the same costs would apply. Each instance is handled on a case-by- case basis, so please call in and speak with one of our project managers who will be able to better determine your options.

How Do I Request a Refund?

While we strive to provide an excellent experience to all of our valued customers, we understand that there might be a time when a you would need to request a refund or cancel an order. There are a few ways to request a refund, either call us at (866) 858-3867 ext. 6004 to speak to one of our customer service representatives. Who and how do I pay?

Ultimate Dumpsters takes payment over the phone at the time the order is placed with either a credit or debit card. We take payment up front as we cannot pay for our driver’s time and fuel costs before payment is made.

Who do I call to check on a dumpster delivery arrival time?

All orders will be delivered on the scheduled day of service unless there is delay out of our hands. Keep in mind, this is the trucking industry, delays do happen. Your container may arrive any time throughout the day between 7 AM up to 8 PM unless otherwise specified.

What dumpster sizes are available to rent?

Temporary use dumpsters or ‘roll offs’ come in four sizes. Ultimate Dumpsters carries; 10 yard, 20 yard, 30 yard, and 40 yards dumpsters. We also provide commercial weekly service agreements. Those containers come in four different sizes; 2 yard, 4 yard, 6 yard, 8 yard.

Do I have to be there when my dumpster is delivered?

No, you do not have to be there when our driver shows up for delivery. When placing your order, provide your project manager with specific placement instructions and we will deliver the dumpster accordingly. If the dumpster needs to be placed in an location that is not easily described over the phone or if the delivery location is especially crucial, then you may want someone to be there to ensure the dumpster is placed in the right spot.

Can I order any other type of dumpster besides a roll-off container?

Yes, we also have commercial smaller dumpsters for permanent use. These are for restaurants, businesses, apartment buildings, etc. Check our homepage for a list of services and sizes.

How much will it cost to rent a dumpster?

The cost of a dumpster rental will vary based on the size and weight capacity of the dumpster, as well as the location of the customer. Disposal costs also vary widely between cities since some municipalities have reduced landfill space or mandate recycling for various types of debris. The prices will be discussed over the phone and will be shown on your invoice. If you have any questions or concerns regarding pricing, please contact your project manager or our customer service department.

Can I have my dumpster delivered today?

Yes! Ultimate Dumpsters offers same day deliveries. Keep in mind, if you’re calling in the late afternoon we are not going to guarantee it. We do appreciate a days notice, however, if you call early enough one of our project managers can check to see if we have any openings in your area.
